Towards the end of last year, I had the amazing chance to once again photograph the Jump City Challenge.
This very unique obstacle event took athletes through in ins and outs of Ushaka Marine World on the Durban beach front.

One of the aspects I most enjoy about photographing events, is capturing the smiles of nerves on athletes faces before they tackle the challenge. The event gave athletes the chance to participate as a team or as an individual, adding a new dynamic of the event.

It was great to explore inside Ushaka Marine world, capturing a very unique experience within the aquarium. It was also very entertaining to watch athletes get soaking wet towards the end of their event as they had to tackle the wet and wild section. Ultimately some athletes enjoyed it more than others, but it looked like everyone had fun and thats what counts.

It was great to see everyone smiling and laughing as they crossed the finish line. Well done to everyone who took part, ill see you at the next one!
