RUGBY PHOTOGRAPHY
Rugby is a sport I haven't had the most experience with when it comes to covering events, but if you know me you should know I never step down to a challenge and I thrive on every chance I get to capture the spectacular event.
I have been given a few chances to cover  some amazing rugby events and I have always grabbed them and made the most out of them, even tried some new and unique angles I would never even think of. I always love a challenge and would love to be challenged some more.

​Sharks Rugby
The Sharks Rugby team are one of the South Africa's top local rugby teams. I have been fortunate enough to be part of their match days, not shooting for the club, but mainly for their sponsors. 
I thrive on the atmosphere a massive international rugby match can give you, it sends shivers down your spine and makes you feel like what you are doing is extremely important. 
​Its always such a privilege covering such high profile clients. I look forward to covering more of their games in the future.

​School Rugby
Professional rugby players all grew up playing school rugby and non contact rugby at some point. I have been fortunate enough to cover a few school rugby matches as well as the newly introduced TAG rugby, which encourages all genders to play the game without the physicality of the sport.
School Rugby: It is always fun and exciting shooting school sport, I take this opportunity to hone in on my skills and there is generally more manoeuvrability when it comes to shooting than that of a professional sports game.
I love capturing the passion and excitement all the kids have for their school, brings a whole new element to the sport.
TAG Rugby: I was given the amazing opportunity to cover a TAG rugby festival hosted by the Sharks. It was great to see so much enthusiasm, as more kids took part as they weren't fearful of getting injured in the non contact sport.
It was awesome to capture the kids side stepping and showing off their fancy foot work, this gave me a great chance to work on my tracking skills behind the camera which helped me with various other shoots since then.
