Oyster Box New Year Greek Bash

Not so long ago, I had the honour of bringing in the new year at the legendary Oyster Box Hotel based in uMhlanga.
The hotel was hosting a Greek themed event, which included some traditional music, plate throwing, dancing and of course food.
​The Oyster Box really went above and beyond to host such a spectacular event.

As mentioned above the Oyster Box Hotel went to another level to decorate the entire entertainment floor, which made all the guests feel like they had been transported to Greece. I had great pleasure trying to photograph all the decorative ideas they had, which was all truly one of a kind.
The assortment of food they also had for the guests was also on a level where all guests I'm sure more than over indulged in the delicious treats.

The evening begun with guests being welcomed with some traditional Greek music and the opportunity to throw a celebratory plate or 2.
This was very amusing and entertaining for many of the guests who loved the idea.
After picking up their welcome drinks guests were allowed to enter the hotel lobby and restaurant where all the evenings festivities took place.
​Every room and table was uniquely decorated to make every guest feel welcome.

From singers singing ABBA, to greek dancers setting the dance floor on fire, it was a thrilling evening.
​Everyone seemed to have an awesome time and it was an absolute privilege to cover such an awesome event.
